October was National Breast Cancer Awareness
Month. Dr. Reese and her staff participated in National Denim
Day. Our office donated to the cause and Dr. Reese matched our
donations.
Jennifer, our office manager went to jail for
a day to support The Muscular Dystrophy Association. It was a
cause very dear to our hearts. A patient of ours has MD and we
wanted to support him. Jennifer raised $1500 by going to jail.
This money was used to send our patient and 2 other children
to MD camp for a day.
For the fourth year, Dr. Reese has bought back
her patients' candy they had received on Halloween in an effort
to avoid potential harm to their braces and to benefit the community.
For each pound of candy, Dr. Reese paid her patient a dollar.
Dr. Reese matched this dollar donation by donating a dollar
to the Emergency Food Shelf Network, as well as the candy.
She also donated candy to the troops stationed in Iraq. More
than 300 pounds of candy was collected! Dr. Reese would like
to thank all of her patients who helped make this a great success.
